Locals turned out in droves to Clover Park Saturday for the 23rd annual Santa Monica Festival. The yearly celebration drew thousands to partake in food, live music, and a celebration of sustainable living. The festival also commemorates Juneteenth, which celebrates the end of slavery in United States. – JI

Saul was a reporter for the Santa Monica Outlook before helping to found the Santa Monica Lookout.
