The Next “Salon”: There’s An App for That

Date:

I am pleased to announce the topic for our third Santa Monica Next Salon, where we pick the topic and you provide the stories. The next topic will be “There’s an app for that,” where readers can send us stories for some of their favorite apps that help them navigate life in Santa Monica.

We’ve reached out to experts on Ride Share apps, ocean environmental apps, and city staff to make sure we get some diverse answers. Also, I’m in the process of designing a new app for Santa Monica Next which I will unveil at some point during the Salon.

If you’d like to join us, send me an email at damien@streetsblog.org and we can begin the conversation. Past salons have asked, “what can we do to get young people more involved in the public process,” and “why do you live in Santa Monica?”
