Join members and prospective members of the League of Women Voters of Santa Monica for the organization’s annual lunch with the mayor this Saturday.

Starting at 11 a.m. at the Montana Branch Library, Mayor Ted Winterer will discuss with attendees goings on in the city and many of the issues Santa Monica is tackling.

According to the League’s newsletter, one of the topics Winterer will tackle is homelessness, the subject of the League of Women Voters of Santa Monica’s current study.

Members and prospective members of the League are welcome. The event costs $20 to cover the catered lunch. Attendees can RSVP by February 9 by sending an email to nzernitskaya@gmail.com. More details about the event, including how to pay, can be found here.

The library is located at the corner of 17th Street and Montana. It is accessible by Big Blue Bus lines 18, 41, and 42. There are bike racks near the east entrance of the library. There is also a Breeze Bike Share station just one block west of the venue at 16th and Montana. Limited metered parking is available behind the library and on the street.
