On Thursday, November 16, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. to noon, the City of Santa Monica will host a Small Business Resource Fair at the Santa Monica Main Library for local businesses, entrepreneurs and start-ups. This will provide opportunities for small businesses to network and learn about small business assistance, incentives and resources. Exhibitors will include Sustainable Works, Buy Local Santa Monica, City of Santa Monica Economic Development, Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce, City of Santa Monica Procurement Team and more. The event is free and open to the public.

The resource fair is being held in conjunction with a Los Angeles County Contracting Connections Workshop to assist businesses in the region to access procurement opportunities with both LA County and the City of Santa Monica. It will include on-site certification registration and verification, workshops and presentations on how to do business with regional and local government.
